I founded Bovice as a dairy-based training and consultancy business focusing on cow welfare as the basis for a successful dairy farm. Since graduating from Reaseheath College, I have accumulated 28 years of dairy farming experience across different systems from 150 to 1600 cows. Two of these farms have won the prestigious RABDF gold cup and I know first hand what it takes to achieve and maintain this standard. As a result I have developed a keen eye for problem solving, with a particular expertise in the following: Mastitis control, antibiotic reduction and cow welfare. Having worked with teams of various sizes, I am well-equipped to provide training sessions for farm staff across all aspects of a modern dairy farm as I believe there is no substitute for a good stockperson to compliment the technology farming is now embracing.
